It is so wonderful to see all of the pollinator friendly yards in the city blooming while knowing that the farmers market has opened for the season and we can get truly local honey. Did you know there are beekeepers in Belmont? Here are some links to local groups focusing on pollinators:
UACC Plant-and-pollinator-sanctuary and Ivycreekfoundation.
Did this warm weather make you realize all of your sunscreen was expired or was that just me? There are so many fun things to do in the Charlottesville area that we seem to forget about all winter. Every fall I think about how this is the best time ever to get a deal on kayaks and then somehow the thought gets tucked away until the first warm day of spring. If you are new to the region, relocating, or just looking for ideas for the weekend, please don’t hesitate to reach out as I love to share fun spots to visit especially with kids. If you are considering an actual move, this is just the time to set your plans in motion.
Remember, if you or anyone that you know is looking to buy or sell, please have them give me a call 434-205-0221.
